JE Technology
Technician working on a smart home installation

An integrator with a builder's mindset

JE Technology has designed, installed and supported smart home, lighting, AV and security systems for homes, houses of worship and businesses in New York since 2010.

We started JE Technology because we saw too many smart homes fail.

Not from bad hardware — from bad execution. Systems that were never engineered, networks that couldn't carry the load, racks nobody could service, and integrators who disappeared after the last invoice.

So we built the company differently. Every project starts with engineering, not a sales pitch. We understand the architecture, design the infrastructure correctly, install it cleanly, document everything, and stay. The team that designs your system is the team that installs it, programs it and answers the phone years later.

We don't sell what we can't support, and we don't subcontract the work that matters.

How we work

Three habits that make the difference between a system that impresses on handover day and one that still feels effortless a decade later.

  1. 1

    Infrastructure first

Every installation begins with the network and low-voltage backbone — not the glamorous parts. Clean cabling, proper panel builds and a switch sized for the load are what make everything else reliable.

  2. 2

    Documented and labeled

Every wire is labeled. Every device is documented. Every rack is built to be serviced by any qualified technician, not just us. You receive as-built drawings and device schedules at close-out.

  3. 3

    Long-term support

We monitor systems remotely, push firmware updates proactively and respond fast when something needs attention. No call centers, no third parties.

Manufacturer-certified on every platform we install

We hold active certifications and dealer agreements with the brands we specify. Every technician on your project has been trained and tested by the manufacturer — not just by us.

Who we work with

Homeowners, architects, interior designers, general contractors, developers, building managers and congregations across New York City, Long Island, Westchester and the New Jersey shore.
